Rr came this week. We will be reading a story about Ronnie Robot. He is so cute. In Religion this week we are talking about God's gift of Friends. Our friends are very important to us. It is fun to do things with our friends and for our friends.
In Math, we are continuing to work on subtraction. We are using our white boards for practice and continuing to use m&m's and other manipulatives.
In Phonics, we are practicing reading many words and sentences. Next week I will put a new sheet in the H copybook. Please have your child practice reading the sentences.
We will be celebrating Groundhog Day tomorrow. The children will learn about Punxsutawney Phil. Will he see his shadow?
We will be celebrating our 100th Day of School on Tuesday, February 21st.(providing a snow day doesn't change the date)It is a very big deal in the kindergarten. If there is any parent that would like to come in on that day(AM) and help, you are more than welcome. I will give you the exact time at a later date. Another date that I will need help from our wonderful parents is Friday, March 2nd in the morning. We will be celebrating Dr. Seuss' Birthday and the parents will be cooking Green Eggs and Ham. Doesn't that sound like fun!
