| The technology committee had a busy 2006/2007. Thanks to
their efforts and a very generous donation, the following major
projects have been either accomplished or planned for completion this
year.
1) Replace entire computer lab with new computers. Replace dated CRT monitors with new 17" LCD monitor in the
computer lab and classrooms.
2) Purchase and install a new laser printer in lab.
3) Upgrade internet access by moving from T1 to cable. Access is
now more than 10x faster at 1/3 the monthly cost.
4) Purchase and install two new overhead projectors with integrated
calculator.
5) Purchase and install new computers for PreK-3, PreK-4,
Kindergarten and Ms. Miller.
6) Purchase and install backup software for server.
7) Purchase brighter computer projector for Ms. Miller.
8) Host an Internet safety workshop for children.
9) Start Google Adwords campaign to increase Internet exposure for
the school.
